Functional Skills

Overview

Functional Skills qualifications develop essential English and Maths abilities needed for everyday life, work, and further study. These qualifications focus on practical, real-world application and are suitable for learners of all ages and backgrounds.

Our Functional Skills programmes follow national standards and are recognised by employers, training providers, and educational institutions across the UK. They provide a clear progression route towards further vocational learning and apprenticeships.
